Job Overview
The Senior Data Quality Analyst will be instrumental in designing, testing, and deploying advanced reporting tools and analytics in support of the Data Foundry team. This role focuses on building scalable frameworks to verify the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness of enterprise data across multiple domains.
Primary Responsibilities
- Utilize AI-assisted data quality techniques such as GenAI-driven rule generation and test case development
- Employ intelligent anomaly detection and pattern recognition to identify data issues
- Automate data quality issue triage and summarization processes
- Create and automate data quality controls and checks using SQL and Python within a Snowflake environment
- Implement validation, reconciliation, and anomaly detection logic for both batch and streaming data pipelines
- Integrate automated data quality verifications into ETL/ELT workflows to enforce quality gates and block flawed data propagation downstream
- Develop reusable automated data quality components, libraries, and frameworks for consistent use among data engineering teams
- Adhere to and contribute to departmental data governance, project planning, validation, and documentation standards
- Validate BI datasets, semantic models, and dashboards ensuring data reconciliation, metric accuracy, as well as aggregation, filtering, and refresh correctness
- Leverage domain knowledge of value-based care and fee-for-service delivery models
- Apply healthcare interoperability standards including HL7, X12, and FHIR to maintain secure and reliable system communications
- Monitor, report, and analyze data quality metrics and trends, including dashboard accuracy and consistency
- Use AI-driven insights to enable AIOps-style data observability, detecting data drift, schema changes, and metric anomalies proactively
- Support data governance and audit readiness through documentation and traceability of data quality controls, validations, and dashboard certifications
- Drive continuous enhancements in data quality practices using automation, standardization, and AI capabilities to reduce manual effort
- Act as a technical mentor and subject matter expert, guiding junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing, and encouraging adoption of AI-enhanced data quality automation frameworks across the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline preferred
- At least 4 years of experience in data quality engineering emphasizing automation and framework development, including a solid grasp of data quality dimensions such as accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, and validity
- Minimum 4 years of proficiency in SQL for tasks such as data profiling, reconciliation, and validation
- Experience spanning 4+ years in building automated data quality frameworks embedded within ETL/ELT processes
- Over 3 years of hands-on experience working within Snowflake environments supporting large-scale data pipelines and analytics platforms
- Proven ability to collaborate with technical and business professionals within matrix organizations while managing competing priorities and deadlines
- Demonstrated expertise in problem-solving, data management, and implementation
- Advanced experience utilizing AI for data validation, lineage tracking, and pipeline management
- Strong understanding of healthcare-specific data exchange standards
- Effective communication skills to translate business reporting needs into technical quality requirements
Additional Information

The salary for this position ranges from $127,000 to $150,000 annually, excluding bonuses and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, pet insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and wellness programs. Additionally, the role is eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 15%. The exact base salary will be determined by factors including experience, education, and geographic location.
Remote Work Technical Requirements: Candidates working remotely must have reliable internet with minimum speeds of 5 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload prior to employment start. Internet speed can be verified by using online speed testing tools. Employees regularly working from home may be reimbursed for related expenses.
