Senior Cyber Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced identity engineer to join our team, specializing in Microsoft Identity Technologies with proven expertise managing large-scale environments of over 50,000 users. This role focuses on maintaining and improving Entra ID security features, including implementing Identity Protection, Conditional Access, SSO, and enabling Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain Entra ID and execute key security enhancements like Identity Protection, Conditional Access, and Strong Authentication across users.
• Administer automation workflows within Azure to streamline identity processes.
• Implement policy configurations related to Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Microsoft Cloud App Security (MCAS).
• Develop clean, reusable, readable code for identity solutions.
• Integrate systems using modern technologies such as REST APIs, specifically Microsoft Graph API and Log Analytics API.
• Lead design reviews and inspire technical teams, fostering collaboration to meet objectives.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• At least 7 years of deep experience with Microsoft Identity products including Entra ID and Entra Connect.
• Proficient with scripting languages like PowerShell and querying with Kusto Query Language (KQL).
• Solid knowledge of Identity Access Management (IAM) protocols and cloud document management systems.
• Understanding of passkeys, Windows Hello for Business, and Microsoft Authenticator App technologies.
• Experience in maintaining least privilege principles and identifying security risks promptly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly diagnose complex identity flows.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to various audiences and produce detailed documentation including low/high-level designs and end-user materials.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and version control tools like GitHub.
