Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Senior Associate for Fund Accounting based in Mumbai, India. This role involves overseeing the accurate and prompt delivery of month-end Profit & Loss statements and Net Asset Value calculations. The candidate will serve as the primary liaison for accounting matters related to specific clients and will be responsible for escalating any accounting issues as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure precise and timely delivery of month-end P&L and NAV statements.
• Act as the main contact for the accounting group for assigned clients and manage any client accounting issues.
• Prepare NAV packs and handle investor allocations.
• Produce high-quality financial statements and ensure audit processes are completed within agreed deadlines.
• Address audit queries promptly and efficiently.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Qualifications: CA, MBA Finance, CFA, MMS, or any graduate.
• Experience: 0 to 3 years in Fund Accounting or a related field.
• Strong analytical aptitude with excellent understanding of financial products and accounting principles.
• Effective team player with good communication and client handling skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
