Senior Accountant

Overview

Dofreeze LLC seeks a meticulous and seasoned Senior Accountant with 7 to 10 years of accounting experience focused on the manufacturing sector. The candidate must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge in ERP platforms, local tax regulations including VAT and corporate tax, and advanced Excel proficiency. This role involves handling detailed financial analysis and business reporting.

Primary Duties

• Manage complete profit and loss statements, oversee all financial operations including bookkeeping, general ledger and bank reconciliations, as well as month-end closures.
• Expertly handle cash flow forecasting and maintain cash flow management.
• Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes.
• Possess in-depth familiarity with banking operations, including managing bank facilities such as bill discounting, letters of credit, and trade finance.
• Ensure full compliance with regional tax regulations and carry out timely VAT and corporate tax filings.
• Prepare and evaluate financial statements, budgets, and performance reports to support business insights.
• Administer cost accounting and inventory valuation following manufacturing industry standards.
• Utilize ERP systems and advanced Excel for accurate and efficient financial reporting and data analysis.
• Facilitate both internal and external audits while maintaining strict adherence to financial protocols and legislation.
• Collaborate with departments across the organization to enhance financial effectiveness and decisions.
• Execute payroll management and conduct WPS registrations.
• Generate comprehensive Budget versus Actual financial reports.
• Perform any additional assignments as requested by top management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce or an equivalent degree; professional certifications like CPA, ACCA, or CMA are advantageous.
• At least five years of accounting experience, ideally within the manufacturing environment.
• Deep understanding of local VAT and corporate tax legislations.
• Proficiency with ERP tools and advanced capabilities in Excel.
• Strong analytical skills coupled with experience in business reporting.
• Keen attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to work autonomously while prioritizing multiple responsibilities effectively.
