Position Overview

• Promote Walmart-sponsored programs like credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable campaigns when the opportunity arises.
• Assist customers in using self checkout machines efficiently, providing guidance and intervention with a positive attitude, and escalate any cash or technical issues to the Customer Service Manager.
• Respond promptly to Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) alarms and maintain accurate records in the “Failure to Deactivate” log.
• Manage Scan & Go equipment by ensuring scanners are returned to their proper storage locations after use.
• Adapt to a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support store operations effectively.

Challenges Associated with the Role

• Handle a high volume of tasks in a fast-paced environment, including overnight shifts, by maintaining energy and focus throughout.
• Complete restocking, zoning, and recovery duties efficiently and accurately despite a rapid work pace.
• Meet physical job requirements such as standing for prolonged periods, bending, and lifting supplies weighing up to 20 lbs routinely, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive, detail-oriented tasks consistently to uphold store standards.

Compensation

The position starts at a minimum hourly wage of $18.40.
