Location and Shift Details

This position is based at Glasgow Fort, with a shift pattern of 4 days on followed by 4 days off, totaling 42 working hours per week. Compensation is competitive.

Role Summary

We seek a vigilant Security Officer to prioritize customer service while ensuring a safe and secure environment for shoppers and staff alike. Possession of a valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard licence is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled duties as specified in site Assignment Instructions.
• Maintain a consistent presence across the park to uphold safety and security standards.
• Conduct thorough patrols encompassing retail and service areas within the park.
• Respond actively during emergencies, including providing first aid and acting as a fire warden.
• Supervise external contractors to enforce safe working practices.

Candidate Requirements

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently towards a common objective.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for precise report preparation.
• Excellent time management capabilities.
• Professional appearance, neat grooming, and confident demeanor.
• Knowledge of conflict management techniques.
• High awareness of customer care standards.
• Experienced in patrolling and monitoring with emphasis on loss prevention and health & safety.
• Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard licence.
