Role Overview and Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly organized and solution-oriented Scheduler based in Weston-super-Mare to streamline field operations and deliver exceptional service. The primary responsibilities include:

  • Developing efficient daily schedules for field engineers, prioritizing route optimization to reduce travel time and maximize first-time job completion rates.
  • Acting as the initial welcoming and clear point of communication for tenants, clients, and Housing Associations.
  • Following up on outstanding parts orders, resident job progress, managing non-access reports, and swiftly resolving job-related inquiries.
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams and the Call Centre Manager to meet key performance indicators and ensure smooth operational flows.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar scheduling or operations coordination role.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to logically arrange routes and manage deadlines under pressure.
  • Professional and clear telephone communication skills, including effective note-taking and message relaying.
  • A proactive mindset geared toward continuous process improvement and effective problem-solving.
  • Strong team orientation, demonstrating integrity, empathy in handling tenant issues, and adaptability to shifting priorities.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual salary of £27,800.
