Role Overview
As an SAP GATP Manager based in Trivandrum, you will contribute to project delivery and continuous improvement initiatives within integrated supply chain planning. The role calls for hands-on experience in Global Available to Promise (APO GATP) or S/4 aATP, along with the ability to support client-facing supply chain planning activities and influence solution outcomes through subject matter expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer technical assistance for project execution and ongoing improvement efforts.
- Act as a knowledgeable support resource for client global Integrated Supply Chain Planning (ISCP) initiatives.
- Use strong influence and solutioning abilities to help shape business outcomes.
- Interpret client needs and translate them into workable solutions and functional specifications.
- Configure systems to match business requirements.
- Support end-to-end work across implementation, support, upgrades, and optimization activities.
Required Background and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or another STEM discipline; a master’s degree is considered an advantage.
- Strong SCM knowledge with advanced understanding of software configuration management.
- Proven capability in handling complex SCM tasks and guiding or mentoring others in configuration management work.
- Extensive exposure to project pursuit activities for new ISCP capabilities.
- Deep knowledge of SAP APO and how its processes depend on one another.
- Practical experience with SAP APO-GATP or S/4 aATP, including implementation, support, upgrade, and optimization work.
- Good understanding of SAP APO-ECC integration.
- Exposure to additional APO modules such as SNP, CIF, and PPDS is preferred.
- Solid grasp of the software development lifecycle and related methodologies, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development tools, version control, testing, QA, and deployment.
- Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a service-focused, customer-facing environment.
