Role Overview
Magellanic Cloud is hiring an SAP CPI Consultant / Developer in Bengaluru to design, build, deploy, and support integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP systems. This role is centered on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Integration Suite and hands-on delivery of enterprise integrations.
What You Will Do
- Create, configure, and release integration flows (iFlows) in SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite.
- Connect SAP systems with external applications through REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC, JDBC, SFTP, JMS, HTTP, and SuccessFactors adapters.
- Set up message routing, mappings, data transformations, and exception handling logic.
- Write Groovy scripts, XSLT mappings, and other custom integration code when required.
- Track, analyze, and fix interface problems using monitoring tools and trace logs.
- Implement secure integrations with SSL, OAuth, Basic Authentication, SAML, and PGP encryption.
- Use SAP Cloud Connector and BTP Cockpit for connectivity setup and platform administration.
- Carry out unit testing, system integration testing, deployments, and production support.
- Work closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to capture requirements and deliver solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow SAP integration best practices.
What We Are Looking For
- 3 to 6 years of experience working with SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP BTP Integration Suite.
- Practical experience with integration adapters such as REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC, JDBC, SFTP, JMS, and HTTP.
- Good hands-on exposure to XML, JSON, XSLT, XPath, and message mapping.
- Comfortable with Groovy scripting.
- Experience using SAP Cloud Connector and BTP Cockpit.
- Understanding of integration design patterns, logging, monitoring, and error handling.
- Knowledge of API integrations and SAP security practices.
- Preferred exposure to SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, or other SAP cloud products.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication abilities.
Additional Information
Location: Bengaluru, India.
Education: Any Graduate.
For this opening, the listed compensation is INR 7,00,000 to INR 15,00,000 per year.
Experience noted in the source: 3-6 years.
Good to Have
- Exposure to SAP PI/PO to CPI migration projects.
- Familiarity with API Management, Event Mesh, or Open Connectors.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- SAP BTP or SAP CPI certification.
