Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate Sales Representative for an apparel store to deliver an exceptional shopping experience, meet sales targets, and maintain the store's appearance consistent with the brand identity.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Professionally greet and welcome customers.
- Identify customers' needs and assist them in product selection.
- Provide detailed explanations about products, including materials, sizes, colors, and current promotions.
- Achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
- Encourage customers to purchase additional or complementary products (upselling and cross-selling).
- Arrange and organize clothing in the store according to approved display standards.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the store and fitting rooms continuously.
- Monitor the availability of sizes and colors and inform management of shortages.
- Receive new merchandise and participate in sorting, pricing, and displaying them.
- Execute sales transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system and issue accurate invoices.
- Handle exchange and return processes following store policies.
- Protect merchandise and reduce waste or damage.
- Monitor inventory and perform periodic stocktaking as requested.
- Adhere to store policies, attendance systems, and dress code.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and sales information.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and either resolve or escalate them to supervisors.
- Participate in promotional campaigns and seasonal events.
- Support product photography or preparation for publishing on social platforms when required.
- Prepare daily sales reports and manage cash register closure if assigned.
- Perform any other related tasks assigned by the direct manager.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma.
- Prior experience in clothing sales or retail is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of point-of-sale systems.
