Sales Operations Manager - Galway Area

We are searching for a dynamic Sales Operations Manager to oversee multiple Lidl stores in the Galway area, ensuring exceptional operational efficiency and driving maximum sales performance. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a district of stores, with direct line responsibility for all Store Managers.
• Foster a positive, motivated, and collaborative work atmosphere across your district.
• Develop, support, and mentor Store Managers to optimize their performance and growth.
• Analyze and enhance stock movement efficiency.
• Conduct regular district tours alongside the Sales Operations Director.
• Perform frequent cash management audits.
• Provide analytical insights and feedback to aid project support.
• Supervise store refurbishments, as well as new store openings and re-openings.
• Formulate and execute annual business plans tailored to the district’s goals.
• Design KPIs and staffing structures for district stores.
• Implement the company’s strategic initiatives within your district.
• Prepare for and actively participate in Area Manager meetings.

Candidate Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree with at least a 2.1 classification in any subject or a minimum of three years’ experience in management.
• Strong communication, planning, organizational, and analytical abilities.
• Must hold a valid driving license.
• Demonstrated leadership through motivation and team development in previous roles.
• Experience working in fast-paced retail environments.
• Highly organized, adaptable, motivated, and hardworking.
• Prior multi-site management or Area Manager experience will be an advantage.
• Keen interest in building a career within retail operations management.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive, equitable salary framework starting at €78,000 for Trainee Area Managers.
