Role Overview

As a Sales Associate at Spencer's, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the company's guest service standards and supporting store operations. This part-time position entails a variety of tasks including sales generation, store upkeep, merchandising, pricing, POS handling, and loss prevention, all conducted following company policies.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage for this role ranges from 17.60 to 17.85 Canadian dollars, adjustable based on your qualifications and experience. Benefits available to employees include contest prize awards, an employee assistance program, and a 30% discount on merchandise. Note that bonuses, awards, and benefits depend on eligibility criteria.

Job Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service aligning with company standards.
Assist management in driving sales and achieving store targets.
Engage in housekeeping duties to maintain store appearance.
Perform merchandising, pricing, and signage updates.
Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently.
Implement loss prevention measures to safeguard company assets.

Physical Requirements

The role involves physical activities such as climbing ladders, lifting items up to 50 pounds, and potentially standing or walking for up to 8 hours a day.
