Overview
The Sales Associate position at Lenskart plays a critical role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences at retail locations by delivering superior sales services. This role is key to driving store revenue through effective customer interaction and product sales.
Primary Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist all walk-in customers, directing them towards the clinic and promoting the complimentary eye check-up.
- Participate in stock inventory checks, uphold sales floor standards, and manage daily operational tasks to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Utilize basic knowledge of POS systems to facilitate smooth transaction processing.
- Commit to resolving customer issues thoroughly to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Based on information from optometrists and customers, suggest the best-suited products, identifying and addressing unspoken customer needs to enhance sales conversations.
- Set and achieve sales targets, including eye-test conversions and returns, while following all standard operating procedures meticulously.
- Coordinate product pickups with customers after warehouse notifications, verifying lens accuracy before delivery, and address return reasons to minimize return rates.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store environment including displays, frames, and equipment, adhering to company hygiene standards.
- Ensure security of all store equipment and prevent stock shortages or damage.
Work Schedule and Training
This role requires working six days a week with rotating weekly offs and shifts aligned with business needs; no night shifts will be scheduled. Selected candidates will attend a mandatory in-person training session at a designated Lenskart Academy as part of onboarding.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum education: Completion of 12th grade; graduates are preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building trustworthy relationships.
- Adept at identifying implicit customer needs and proposing suitable solutions.
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening abilities.
- Adaptability to dynamic environments with eagerness to learn.

Compensation and Benefits
Offered salary ranges between ₹300,000 and ₹350,000 annually, with health insurance coverage. Incentives based on performance are also provided.
