Room Inspector

Job Overview

This role involves supporting the Housekeeping Management team by overseeing all functions within the Room Attendant Division. The main goal is to ensure all guest rooms maintain a superior level of cleanliness and are properly prepared for occupancy.

Key Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of assigned guest rooms before occupancy to verify cleanliness and presentation standards are met.
• Maintain detailed logs of rooms approved for occupancy as well as those requiring additional cleaning or maintenance.
• Provide guidance and assistance to Room Attendants and Housepersons to ensure their daily tasks are executed effectively.
• Utilize computer systems to monitor and manage room statuses for cleaning and maintenance scheduling.
• Safeguard and manage the security of the "Pass Key" during assigned shifts, returning it to the Housekeeping Manager upon shift completion.

Educational and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• At least six months of relevant prior experience, ideally within a hotel setting.

• Strong communication abilities to interact efficiently with team members.
• Good organizational skills to manage tasks and documentation effectively.
