Position Summary

This role is focused on driving retail sales performance in Qatar by meeting commercial targets, strengthening the retail network, and supporting long-term growth for Geberit across the assigned markets. The consultant will be based in Doha and will also support retail business in Qatar, Kuwait, and Oman when required. The role includes identifying new business opportunities, helping shape a consistent sales approach, and working closely with Product Management and Marketing to expand the retail business. The position reports to the Head of Retail in Dubai, UAE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and grow the retail channel so annual sales and profitability goals are achieved.
  • Develop strong, professional relationships with key contacts within assigned partner accounts.
  • Ensure the full market is covered with Geberit product displays and that all displays follow company standards and guidelines.
  • Track debtor accounts, assess credit exposure, and help evaluate financial risk.
  • Review market potential and keep an eye on competitors, including their products, activity, and pricing.
  • Work with Product Management and Marketing to create and carry out business plans covering product strategy, marketing, distribution, pricing, communication, and promotions.
  • Deliver product training and company presentations to selected partners while clearly and convincingly communicating Geberit’s unique selling points.

Education and Experience

  • A first degree in economics or sanitary technical education, along with additional training in sales or economics, is required.
  • Further education in marketing or experience in retail within the sanitary market is preferred.
  • Prior exposure to distribution is expected.
