Role summary

JB Hi-Fi is looking for an upbeat, customer-oriented Retail Salesperson to join its New Zealand team. The role focuses on delivering memorable customer interactions, supporting sales growth and contributing to a smooth retail operation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent service by identifying customer needs and responding in a helpful, professional and approachable way.
• Engage customers actively, share product knowledge and suggest suitable items to support purchasing decisions.
• Work toward individual and team sales targets by promoting and selling products effectively.
• Keep product knowledge current, including new arrivals and updated offerings.
• Work closely with colleagues to keep store activities running efficiently and maintain a positive shopping atmosphere.
• Assist with merchandising and stock control to keep the sales area tidy, organised and attractive.
• Follow company procedures and comply with health and safety requirements.

• Previous retail experience, ideally within high-performing teams.
