Role Overview

As a Retail Sales Supervisor at Staples Canada, you will lead a team focused on delivering outstanding customer service, boosting sales, and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and coach team members to adopt a customer-first mindset and effective selling techniques.
• Drive sales by demonstrating strong customer engagement and promoting flyer and promotional products effectively.
• Foster a sales-driven culture by staying updated on new trends, products, and services and helping associates grow.
• Maintain high store standards in operations, including health & safety, loss prevention, and adherence to policies.
• Deliver and support staff training and development initiatives to encourage continuous learning within the team.
• As a keyholder, responsibly open and close the store, manage timekeeping, payroll tasks, and ensure compliance with asset protection and safety standards.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of retail sales experience; technology sales experience is preferred.
• Preferably 1 to 2 years in a supervisory position with responsibility for meeting sales and service goals.
• Excellent communication skills to motivate customers and employees alike.
• Able to thrive in fast-paced settings by managing priorities and multiple tasks simultaneously.
