Position Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable Retail Cleaners to join our team based in Bankstown, NSW. This role suits individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, possess a keen eye for detail, and take pride in maintaining clean and welcoming surroundings for customers and clients. Two full-time openings are available, with shifts scheduled across weekdays and weekends.
Work Schedule
The roster runs from Wednesday to Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:06 PM.
Compensation
Employees will be remunerated according to the award wages at Level 1, starting at $27.08 per hour.
Primary Responsibilities
- Carry out general cleaning tasks to meet high-quality standards
- Spot clean furniture and furnishings
- Sweep and mop flooring areas
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms
- Collect and dispose of rubbish appropriately
- Clean interior and exterior glass surfaces
- Dust all hard surface areas
Candidate Attributes
- Experience in commercial cleaning environments is preferable
- Proven team collaboration skills
- Capability to follow directions and perform tasks independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Reliable and punctual workforce presence
- Understanding of workplace health and safety standards
- Willingness to work flexible hours including public holidays
- Experience operating floor care machinery such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers is advantageous
- Must hold valid work authorization in Australia
