Role overview
HSE West North West is recruiting a Respiratory Registrar for July 2026 in Castlebar, County Mayo, Ireland. This is an on-site, full-time medical post.

Eligibility and registration requirements
Applicants must hold active IMC registration. Candidates whose registration is still in the final stages will not be accepted. Where relevant, a current English language qualification must also be in date at the time of application, such as OET or IELTS.
Experience and qualifications
Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of experience in the specialty. Completion of Part 1 of MRCP or MRCPI is mandatory. A valid BLS and ACLS certification is also required.
International Medical Graduate Training Initiative condition
Doctors who completed the International Medical Graduate Training Initiative in Pakistan or Sudan must have returned to their home country for at least 12 months immediately after graduating from the programme before they can apply for this position.
