Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and meticulous Residential Cleaner to service various residential properties. This position entails performing routine cleaning duties, move-in and move-out cleans, turnover cleaning for rentals, and preparing properties for showings or inspections. Ideal candidates are independent, organized, experienced, and professional, with a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and property readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend scheduled cleaning appointments at residential locations for various purposes including move-in, move-out, and rental turnover.
- Execute comprehensive cleaning tasks such as kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, bedrooms, hallways, appliances, floors, cabinets, and fixtures to company standards.
- Remove dust, debris, garbage, and leftover items as needed.
- Thoroughly wipe down surfaces, counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and frequently touched areas.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and clean all types of flooring.
- Clean interiors of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers when required.
- Identify and report areas requiring additional cleaning, repairs, maintenance, junk removal, or further action before property showings or inspections.
- Capture clear before-and-after photographs and videos documenting the condition of the property and cleaning outcomes.
- Provide detailed updates, notes, and communicate any observations with tenants, property owners, and internal teams.
- Follow all company protocols including cleaning checklists, property access instructions, and appointment details.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in residential cleaning, housekeeping, or similar roles.
- Comprehensive understanding of residential cleaning standards and practices.
- Access to reliable transportation to travel independently between property locations.
- Possession of necessary cleaning supplies and equipment for each appointment.
- Ability to work unsupervised and manage time effectively.
- Ownership of a smartphone with a high-quality camera (e.g., iPhone 13 or equivalent) for documenting work.
- Capacity to write clear notes and submit timely updates after each visit.
- Strong attention to detail, punctuality, professionalism, and respectful communication skills.
- Comfortable following detailed instructions, checklists, and property access guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience specifically with move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleaning.
- Background in preparing residential properties for showings and inspections.
- Skill in identifying damage, maintenance needs, junk removal requirements, pest problems, access challenges, or safety concerns.
- Experience working independently in field roles within property management, cleaning, maintenance, or home services.
