Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and meticulous Residential Cleaner to manage cleaning duties at various residential properties. The work involves move-in/move-out cleans, rental turnover cleaning, and preparing homes for showings, inspections, or new occupants. This position suits a professional who is organized, experienced, and able to operate independently in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning services according to company protocols at residential locations, including move-in, move-out, and rental turnover cleans.
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, hallways, appliances, floors, surfaces, cabinets, and fixtures thoroughly.
- Eliminate dust, dirt, debris, garbage, and any leftover items as required.
- Wipe down and sanitize surfaces, counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and frequently touched areas.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain floor cleanliness.
- Clean interior of appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers when necessary.
- Identify any areas needing further cleaning, repairs, maintenance, junk removal, or follow-up tasks.
- Document cleaning results with clear before-and-after photographs and videos.
- Communicate professionally with tenants, property owners, and internal teams, providing detailed reports after each visit.
- Adhere to company instructions, cleaning checklists, access guidelines, and appointment specifics.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in residential cleaning, housekeeping, or related fields.
- Proficient knowledge of residential cleaning standards.
- Own reliable transportation to travel independently between assignments.
- Possession of personal cleaning supplies and tools needed for each job.
- Comfortable using an iPhone 13 or similar smartphone with a high-quality camera for reporting purposes.
- Ability to write detailed notes and submit updates promptly after each cleaning session.
- Capable of working independently without direct supervision.
- Professional, punctual, reliable, and attentive to detail.
- Effective communication with tenants, owners, and team members with respect and clarity.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience specifically in move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleans.
- Familiarity with preparing homes for showings or inspections.
- Skill in identifying property issues such as damage, maintenance needs, junk or pest concerns, or safety hazards.
- Background working independently in field roles within property management, cleaning, or home services companies.
Work Environment and Tools
- Must have personal transportation, cleaning supplies, and equipment for appointments.
- Smartphone with a capable camera required for documentation and reporting.
- Ability to travel between multiple residential sites as needed.
Additional Information
This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and preparing properties for occupancy or inspection. Cleaners are responsible for reporting any observed damages, maintenance issues, pest or junk concerns, access problems, or hazardous conditions to the appropriate teams for further handling.
