Residential Cleaner

About the Role

Get You Housekeeping, a trusted housekeeping company with over 14 years of experience providing weekly home cleaning services across Sydney and Brisbane, is seeking experienced residential cleaners for Woollahra and neighboring areas. This position offers weekday cleaning assignments with consistent clients and a friendly, supportive environment.

Compensation and Work Schedule

• Hourly pay ranges between $33.84 and $47.75, with wages disbursed weekly every Tuesday.
• Work is held during weekdays only; no weekend or late-night shifts.
• Each shift lasts a minimum of 3 to 4 hours.

Job Duties

• Cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living rooms.
• Vacuuming and mopping floors.
• Making and changing beds.
• Handling laundry tasks, including folding and ironing.
• Maintaining general household tidiness.

Provided Resources and Training

• Clients supply all cleaning products and equipment.
• Paid, in-person training is provided before starting the role.
• Supportive and approachable management team.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in housekeeping or residential cleaning.
• Availability to work on any weekday between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.
• Residency in Woollahra or nearby areas, or willingness to travel locally.
• Basic conversational English skills.
• Valid Australian work authorization.
• Working Holiday Visa holders with substantial residential cleaning experience and availability for at least six months are also encouraged to apply.

Additional Information

This opportunity differs from gig-style or one-off cleaning assignments by offering continuous weekly work with regular clients. Assignments are typically in proximity to the cleaner’s residence to minimize commuting and foster lasting client relationships.
