Job description
Position Overview
We are looking for a Relief Pharmacist to serve in various pharmacies across the North Dublin region. This is a permanent part-time position with working hours spanning Monday through Friday, plus two Saturdays and one Sunday per month.
Support and Management
You will receive ongoing support from an Area Manager along with a dedicated rostering team to manage schedules effectively.

Key Responsibilities
- Adhere strictly to all legal requirements related to the dispensing of medicines as per the Pharmacy Act 2007
- Maintain the pharmacy to professional standards that support community health
- Participate in health promotion initiatives and pharmaceutical care delivery where appropriate
- Engage in continuous education to support professional growth
- Implement Allcare Pharmacy’s policies and standard operating procedures diligently
- Ensure accurate stock control and proper documentation for receipt of goods in the dispensary
- Manage the security of stock, premises, keys, and ensure safety of staff and customers in collaboration with the Pharmacy Manager
- Comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act and promote staff adherence to these standards
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company business information
- Execute proper processes concerning Department of Health schemes such as DPS, LTI, GMS including timely submissions and payment reconciliations
- Assist the Pharmacy Manager in maintaining store standards related to Category Management, Merchandising, and Stock Control
- Keep updated with legislative changes and Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) practice guidelines
Qualifications and Experience
- Preferably 1-2 years of experience working as a pharmacist
- Membership with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership capabilities
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately in busy settings
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
