Role Overview

As a Registered Psychologist with PeopleSense by Altius, you will provide a broad spectrum of clinical and organisational psychology services. Your work will involve:

  • Offering counselling through Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) to adults, adolescents, children, and couples.
  • Providing onsite support and responding to critical incidents to assist individuals during workplace crises.
  • Facilitating private counselling including Medicare-rebated sessions.
  • Supporting clients dealing with workers' compensation issues, pain management, injury rehabilitation, and trauma related to injuries.
  • Engaging in multidisciplinary teamwork to enhance client outcomes.
  • Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments.
  • Contributing to specific projects tailored to address particular client and customer challenges.
  • Managing diverse caseloads with options to engage short-term or long-term depending on personal preferences and areas of focus.

Candidate Profile

  • Holds full registration with the Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist.
  • Demonstrates strong commitment to delivering therapeutic services of high quality.
  • Shows passion for working with children, especially those aged 12 and under.
  • Experience or keen interest in workers’ compensation, injury management, and rehabilitation fields.
  • Possesses unrestricted Australian work rights.
  • Capable of securing a national police clearance.
  • Holds a valid driver’s license and has access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
