Role Overview
As Regional Sales Manager based in Emerald Park, SK, you will lead and develop our sales team to deliver outstanding results. Your responsibilities include overseeing sales coverage across geographies ensuring proper staffing, analyzing market trends to meet sales targets, setting clear performance expectations, coaching your team to help customers find the right equipment, conducting on-farm visits with your salespeople to build strong customer relationships, and staying current on John Deere products, financing, and technologies to best support client needs.
Responsibilities
- Ensure appropriate coverage across regions by managing the size and type of your sales team.
- Analyze historical and current market conditions to position the team to grow market share and used equipment sales.
- Set explicit sales goals, manage pipeline, and enhance the customer experience through coaching.
- Support your sales team through farm visits and direct mentoring to strengthen customer ties and sales skills.
- Remain well-informed about John Deere products, financing options, and technology to recommend tailored solutions to customers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in equipment sales.
- 1-3 years’ experience in sales team leadership is advantageous.
- Proven motivation to develop business and uncover unique sales opportunities.
- Competitive nature with goal-setting and achievement drive.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and creativity in developing solutions.
- Background or knowledge of farming/agriculture in Saskatchewan is a plus.
