Position Overview
The Regional Sales Manager will focus on developing and expanding distribution channels within selected South Asia markets to foster sustainable business growth. This role demands close collaboration with distributor partners and direct engagement with key customers, opinion leaders, and stakeholders to strengthen brand positioning and market share. Frequent regional travel and teamwork with sales, operations, and service departments are essential to achieving sales goals and delivering outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed sales performance targets aligned with regional objectives.
- Ensure consistent execution and performance across assigned markets.
- Manage distributor relationships and expand the distribution network for optimal market coverage.
- Lead commercial negotiations and finalize partnership agreements.
- Conduct market analysis to understand customer needs, competition, and access.
- Develop pricing strategies tailored to market conditions.
- Interpret market dynamics to create actionable country-level plans supporting growth and strategic goals.
- Collaborate with Regional Marketing to boost Dornier MedTech’s visibility through distributor and customer initiatives.
- Coordinate with the service team to meet service targets and reinforce distributor industry partnerships.
- Build and sustain robust relationships with customers, opinion leaders, and healthcare stakeholders alongside distributors.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, ethical guidelines, and regulatory compliance across all distributor engagements.
- Take charge of projects and initiatives promoting business growth, market expansion, and process improvements.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent tertiary education.
- 7 to 10 years of relevant sales and distributor management experience in regional markets.
- Proven track record of strong commercial outcomes.
- Extensive experience in South Asia, Southeast Asia, or Australasia healthcare markets is essential.
- Background in medical capital equipment sales, preferably within a distributor-driven model.
- Experience or knowledge in Urology or related clinical fields is highly advantageous.
- High-performance and results-driven work ethic with the ability to prioritize and focus effectively.
- Resourceful and adept at leveraging organizational structures for success.
- Independent with a strong ownership mentality for outcomes.
- Collaborative approach for influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Operational competencies in sales budgeting, forecasting, pipeline management, and go-to-market strategy implementation.
