Role Overview

We are seeking a highly capable Regional Manager for NSW and ACT to lead and enhance our dealer network's performance in these key regions. This role involves cultivating strong partnerships with Dealer Principals and leadership teams to boost sales, improve customer experiences, and contribute to Subaru's growth goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall sales results, market share, profitability, and customer satisfaction within NSW and ACT.
• Collaborate with Dealer Principals and dealership teams to meet business targets.
• Oversee and develop a team consisting of Business Managers and Sales Administration staff.
• Formulate and implement strategic business plans with dealers to maximise their performance.
• Spot market opportunities and execute plans to drive sustained sales growth.
• Track dealership performance in sales, customer experience, reputation, and lead management.
• Maintain strong, trust-based relationships with dealer network stakeholders.
• Align regional sales and customer service actions with Subaru’s larger business strategies.
• Partner with internal departments including marketing, customer experience, training, operations, and human resources.
• Utilize data and market intelligence to identify improvement opportunities and enhance results.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in automotive sales, dealer network management, or related fields such as OEM or retail franchise environments is highly valued.
• Proven track record in sales leadership, business development, and dealer relationship management.
• Demonstrated skills in managing B2B or channel partner networks successfully.
• Strong leadership qualities with experience in coaching and developing teams.
• Ability to meet or exceed sales and business goals.
• Excellent at stakeholder engagement, influence, and relationship building.
• Solid commercial insight and analytical skills.
• Energetic, resilient, and accountable with a proactive approach.
• Possession of a current driver's licence with readiness to travel within NSW, ACT, and interstate.

Additional Details

This position is full-time, based at the Norwest Head Office in NSW and requires onsite presence. The role involves extensive travel within the territory and sometimes to other states.
