Role Overview

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will oversee and expand your own recruitment desk within one or multiple industry sectors. The role may involve permanent placements, contract recruitment, or a combination, shaped by your expertise and preferences. This position suits individuals committed to cultivating a sustainable book of business instead of pursuing quick wins.

Key Responsibilities

• Expand and manage a specialized recruitment desk.
• Engage in business development with new and existing clients.
• Forge long-lasting client relationships and preferred supplier status.
• Handle the entire recruitment process (360-degree role).
• Source, assess, and maintain strong candidate relationships.
• Coordinate interview scheduling, offers, and negotiation stages.
• Ensure CRM data is current and accurately reflects pipeline activities.
• Achieve consistent weekly performance and revenue goals.
• Collaborate with leadership on desk strategies and growth initiatives.

• Prior experience in recruitment (agency experience preferred).
• Capability to manage or grow a full recruitment desk.
• Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills.

• Proficient in pipeline and activity organization.
• Driven by long-term partnership building rather than immediate transactional gains.
• Possession of a degree and at least one year of recruitment experience.
