About the Company

Locate is an AI-enabled commercial real estate platform focused on helping expanding brick-and-mortar brands make better location decisions. The company uses real consumer behavior data to support expansion planning, while also delivering tenant representation services and full deal execution. Its goal is to help multi-location consumer brands choose sites more intelligently and move through leasing faster.

Role Overview

Locate is hiring a Transaction Manager to support national clients. In this role, you will work as part of a small, independent team that coordinates resources, handles lease execution, leads site acquisition efforts, manages renewals, and carries out dispositions for corporate clients.

What You Will Do

  • Build strong client relationships and help maintain long-term trust.
  • Oversee real estate transaction work from planning through reporting.
  • Supervise and guide field brokers to ensure quality results and timely delivery.
  • Keep both client-facing and internal deadlines on track.
  • Use client systems, Locate’s proprietary tools, and other real estate software effectively throughout the transaction process.
  • Work closely with client management teams to coordinate activities.
  • Ensure transaction work aligns with client policies and required quality standards.
  • Develop and deliver written and verbal presentations, along with strategic plans.
  • Measure and communicate occupancy savings and other value-added outcomes for clients.
  • Prepare detailed project trackers, financial reports, and financial analysis documents.
  • Understand corporate structures and adjust your approach to fit each client’s culture.
  • Bring strong leadership and relationship-building skills to the team.
  • Adopt new technology quickly and apply AI-driven workflows in day-to-day work.

Experience and Fit

Applicants should bring 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial real estate brokerage, transaction management, lease administration, or a closely related area. A valid real estate license is required, along with experience negotiating real estate deal terms. The role is best suited to someone who is comfortable with new technology, works well in a startup-style environment, and is prepared to take ownership of outcomes.

Compensation

The expected pay range is $80,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
