Quantity Surveyor

Role Overview and Key Duties

• Perform detailed quantity take-offs and create precise Bills of Quantities (BOQ) to support project costing.
• Oversee project budgets by tracking expenditures, managing cost variations, and enforcing cost-control measures.
• Administer subcontractor contracts by reviewing agreements, assessing monthly progress billings, and issuing payment certifications.
• Support procurement by analyzing bids, conducting cost-benefit evaluations, and aiding in contract negotiations.
• Prepare, negotiate, and finalize accounts settlements with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Provide management with periodic reports on financial status, cash flow projections, and risk evaluation.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) or in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management.
• Demonstrate 3 to 5 years of practical experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction field.
• Have proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with estimation software tools such as PlanSwift, CostX, or AutoCAD.
• Exhibit knowledge of measurement standards, tendering protocols, and relevant construction legislation.
• Show strong negotiation abilities, commercial insight, and solid analytical problem-solving capabilities.
