Role Overview
Join a top-tier organisation in Dublin as a Quantitative Python Developer, focusing on building and refining sophisticated modeling solutions through collaboration with cross-functional units. This position emphasizes the development of high-quality software leveraging modern technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with teams in risk management, product development, and engineering to design and implement advanced modeling tools.
- Create automated testing frameworks, thorough technical documentation, and standardized procedures addressing stakeholder needs.
- Lead efforts in technical design, ensuring alignment with overall enterprise architecture and strategic goals.
- Research and integrate innovative tools and technologies to improve development processes.
- Provide accurate development effort estimates and ensure on-schedule delivery of technical projects.
- Maintain and enhance the scalability, performance, and robustness of assigned applications.
- Ensure solution integrity by enforcing solid architectural principles and usability standards.
- Utilize technologies including Python, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and NoSQL databases.

Required Experience and Skills
- Proficient in Python programming with significant experience.
- Skilled in debugging numerical computations and interpreting outcomes.
- Experienced in leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and streamline development workflows.
- Proven track record delivering high-performance solutions with Python, AWS, and contemporary technologies.
- Capable of leading innovation initiatives and conducting proof-of-concept experiments.
- Deep understanding of the technical ecosystem employed by the team.
- Adept at steering technical discussions and decisions.
- Quick to adopt new technologies and systems.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to work efficiently individually or with teams.
- Previous experience in the financial sector is preferred.
Desirable Attributes

Educational Background
- Degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Computer Science, or Natural Sciences, or equivalent professional experience.
