Quality Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Specialist for a short-term contract role focused on data quality assessment and validation to support AI model development. The position is remote and requires part-time engagement with overlapping hours in Pacific Standard Time (PST).

Key Responsibilities

• Review and categorize data samples following precise project instructions.
• Maintain high accuracy and consistency throughout assigned datasets.
• Identify inconsistencies, exceptional cases, and annotation problems, providing constructive feedback.
• Conduct quality assurance checks to facilitate AI training and evaluation phases.
• Interpret project directives to make objective, reliable judgments.
• Collaborate effectively with project teams while meeting defined quality and productivity goals.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in data annotation, quality assurance, content review, or related analytical tasks is preferred.
• Knowledge of AI or machine learning data projects is beneficial.
• Exceptional attention to detail along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent proficiency in English reading, writing, and comprehension.
• Ability to accurately interpret complex guidelines and deliver consistent results.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office tools.
• Self-driven, capable of working independently in a remote setting.
• Applicants must be currently residing in the United States.

Additional Information

• Type: Short-term contract spanning approximately 3 to 4 weeks.
• Work commitment: Part-time, ranging between 30 to 40 hours per week with a minimum 4-hour overlap with PST.
• Immediate start availability is required.
