About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our international team in the Eindhoven region, Netherlands, working full-time onsite for a leading client in the high-tech manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will play a vital role in guaranteeing product quality, enhancing processes, and supporting New Product Introductions (NPI). This position offers a blend of practical problem-solving and proactive quality enhancement, collaborating across multiple disciplines.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive root cause analyses (RCA), apply problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, and address customer feedback efficiently.
- Support and improve quality processes within NPI projects for seamless product introductions.
- Continuously monitor and optimize quality control systems, including FMEA, SPC, PPAP, CAPA, and ISO/QMS standards.
- Engage closely with engineering and production teams to resolve issues directly on the shop floor.
- Serve as a critical communication bridge between customer expectations and internal departments.
- Deliver clear and detailed reporting and documentation to relevant stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics engineering, or a closely related field.
- Have a minimum of six years' relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in semiconductor, automotive, medical, or electronics manufacturing industries.
- Strong expertise in quality methodologies such as FMEA, PPAP, SPC, CAPA, ISO/QMS, and Lean Six Sigma.
- Excellent analytical capabilities and adept problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clarify technical matters to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Capable of working independently, pragmatic in approach, and maintaining composure under pressure.
- Valid European Union work authorization is required; visa support can be provided for eligible non-EU candidates.
Compensation and Benefits
- Contract term of 1 to 2 years, based on 40 hours per week, with potential transition to permanent employment.
- Competitive monthly gross salary ranging from 4500 to 6600 Euros, dependent on experience and education.
- Entitlement to 33 paid vacation days annually.
- Annual holiday allowance amounting to 8.33%, disbursed every May.
- Travel cost reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometer.
- Comprehensive relocation aid including initial housing arrangements, advance rent or deposit payments if necessary.
- A net relocation bonus ranging between €1500 and €3000.
- Support at arrival including pickup and assistance with administrative processes such as bank setup, registration (BSN), and insurance.
