Overview
This opportunity is for a Quality Assurance Team Lead in Dublin, Ireland, with a global biopharmaceutical manufacturer. The role combines hands-on quality expertise with team leadership in a GMP-driven manufacturing setting.
Talent Crest is working with a major biopharmaceutical employer to find an experienced quality professional who can guide a QA team, support site operations, and help maintain strong compliance standards across the business.
Key responsibilities
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of QA specialists.
- Provide day-to-day quality support for GMP manufacturing operations.
- Assess quality records and contribute to batch release processes.
- Handle deviations, investigations, and CAPA activities.
- Partner with Manufacturing, QC, Engineering, and other internal teams.
- Support regulatory and customer inspections and help keep the site inspection-ready.
- Encourage ongoing improvement and reinforce a strong quality mindset across the site.
Candidate profile
The employer is seeking someone with experience in a GMP pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment, along with prior exposure to leading, supervising, or mentoring others. A solid grasp of GMP requirements and Quality Systems is important, as is experience supporting operational quality work.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, plus the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, are also key. A degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or a related field is expected.
