Job description
Position Overview
We are presenting a vacancy for a QC Welding Inspector to join United Specialized Industrial Services for Cont. Ltd. Co. (UNISIS) in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing detailed welding inspections, ensuring adherence to Aramco standards, and maintaining alignment with approved welding procedures and relevant international codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out thorough welding inspections on-site.
- Validate Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR).
- Oversee and coordinate Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities.
- Ensure strict compliance with Aramco's Competency-Based Training (CBT) requirements.
Qualification Criteria
- At least seven years of relevant work experience in welding inspection.
- A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Possession of Aramco Approval including an SAP Number and mandatory CBT qualification.
- Must hold AWS or CSWIP certification.
- Level II certifications in Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Penetrant Testing (PT) are compulsory.
Additional Details
The position is a contract role based in Al Khobar and offers an annual salary ranging between SAR 6,000 and SAR 8,500.
