Role Overview

The Incoming Inspector position at LAHAB involves conducting thorough inspections and tests on production materials, verifying the condition and conformity of production machinery and tools, and managing timely calibration of Inspection, Measuring, and Test Equipment (IMTE). This role is crucial to maintaining product quality, compliance, and operational dependability.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and testing in line with the incoming material inspection quality plan.
• Document and retain all inspection and test outcomes accurately.
• Maintain records as stipulated by the Inventory Management System (IMS) procedures.
• Ensure inspection and testing documentation is linked correctly within SAP entries.
• Oversee daily functions of the Empty Components Laboratory.
• Confirm that incoming materials meet approved specifications, drawings, standards, and quality agreements.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Duties

• Adhere to occupational safety and health protocols and safe working procedures.
• Use personal protective equipment and safety systems appropriately.
• Stay informed on emergency and evacuation procedures.
• Avoid actions that could jeopardize anyone's health or safety.
• Assist in preparing risk assessments.
• Report occupational safety hazards, incidents, and concerns promptly.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a high school diploma with proficiency in mathematics.
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing quality control, specifically related to incoming components.
• Knowledge of visual inspection standards, technical drawings, and quality agreements.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Basic skills in report writing.
• Fundamental computer literacy, especially in MS Word and MS Excel.

Preferred Attributes

• Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic.
• Experience with incoming inspection within the defense industry.
