About the Role

As a QC Analyst at our Waterford manufacturing facility, you will join a dedicated Quality Control team committed to producing safe and high-quality pharmaceutical products that positively impact patients worldwide. Operating within a current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) environment, our team prioritizes accuracy, integrity, and teamwork while fostering continuous improvement and professional growth.

Main Responsibilities

  • Execute analytical tests efficiently according to planned schedules and timelines.
  • Conduct all activities adhering strictly to cGMP and Health, Safety & Environment guidelines, including complying with documented procedures and maintaining proper records.
  • Precisely document raw data, calculations, and all related test information to uphold data integrity and cGMP standards.
  • Ensure you possess formal qualifications and proper training before performing specific analytical tests.
  • Review quality control data generated by colleagues promptly, aligned with the testing schedule.
  • Report any quality or safety incidents such as deviations or out-of-specification outcomes immediately to your manager to facilitate appropriate investigations.
  • Participate actively in investigative efforts to identify root causes and conduct impact assessments thoroughly.
  • Complete any assigned Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) aimed at remediation and continual process enhancement.
  • Maintain laboratory instruments and facilities in a clean, safe, and operational state consistently.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in analytical testing within pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing sectors.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with excellent collaboration and straightforward communication skills.
  • Proactive problem solver capable of managing and prioritizing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Sound understanding of cGMP principles and data integrity requirements alongside familiarity with laboratory instruments and analytical methodologies.
  • Experience working with quality documentation systems.
  • Academic qualification in Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Fluent in English.
