Overview
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) offers a remarkable opportunity for experienced professionals as QA Presales Consultants or Subject Matter Experts. This position is focused on leading presales engagements and solutioning for enterprise Quality Engineering (QE) leveraging AI-first strategies and large-scale QA/QE transformation initiatives.
Role Summary
The role demands end-to-end leadership of presales activities, including discovery, solution design, estimation, pricing, and proposal construction. The consultant will craft AI-driven QE solutions, conduct client workshops, perform quality engineering assessments, and define transformation roadmaps. Collaborating across sales, delivery, engineering, and QE leadership to shape deals and develop reusable assets, playbooks, and accelerators is integral to the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the entire presales cycle covering discovery to proposal development.
- Design and articulate AI-first quality engineering solutions highlighting differentiators.
- Facilitate client workshops and QE maturity assessments to formulate transformation roadmaps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, delivery, engineering, and QET leadership for effective deal shaping.
- Create reusable assets like playbooks and accelerators supporting solution delivery.
- Analyze detailed requirements and design AI-first transformation roadmaps aligned with client quality maturity.
- Prepare and present customer-facing demos, proofs of value, and technical deep dives.
- Integrate QE platforms, accelerators, and AI capabilities seamlessly into client offerings.
- Support Centers of Excellence (COE), alliances, and engage with analyst interactions to enhance market positioning.
- Coordinate with QET central teams on platforms, presales, and delivery support.
- Work with business group-specific presales SMEs to align industry-focused offerings utilizing accelerators and platform capabilities.
Technical Expertise Required
- Strong skills in presales storytelling, solution documentation, and executive level presentations.
- Expertise in functional, automation, performance, and non-functional testing domains.
- Proficient with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Katalon, and JMeter.
- Deep understanding of shift-left QE methodologies and autonomy maturity models.
- Experience designing enterprise QE architectures across multiple domains.
- Knowledge of presales governance including SLAs, quality controls, and risk frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI-powered testing tools, autonomous test design, AI/ML model validation, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) models, and intelligent agents.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, ServiceNow, and Workday.
Additional Details and Terms
- Experience range required: 10 to 19 years.
- Job locations include Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, and Noida.
- Immediate joining is preferred, ideally within 45 days.
- Annual compensation range is INR 3,000,000 to INR 4,500,000.
