Position Overview
The Provider Relations Specialist is responsible for maintaining and enhancing relationships with REE Medical's active provider network after onboarding. Acting as the main operational contact for providers, this role ensures a high level of service through proactive communication, issue resolution, operational support, and teamwork across departments.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for providers post-onboarding, fostering strong relationships with providers and clinic staff.
- Conduct regular outreach to promote engagement and identify areas where provider experience can be improved.
- Respond swiftly to provider inquiries, managing issues from initial report through resolution with consistent communication.
- Collaborate with Scheduling, Credentialing, Compliance, Quality, IT, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to address provider requests and escalate complex matters as necessary.
- Provide operational support including portal access, profile updates, and guidance on policies and workflows.
- Maintain accurate documentation in Salesforce and other systems, track provider interactions and escalations, and prepare reports on satisfaction and operational trends.
- Identify and recommend operational improvements, develop provider resources such as FAQs and communication templates, and ensure adherence to HIPAA and company privacy standards.
Qualifications and Success Factors
- Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum two years’ experience in provider relations, healthcare operations, customer success, account management, or similar healthcare setting.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor's degree and have experience supporting physicians, provider networks, healthcare operations, or process improvement projects in remote settings.
