Overview

This is a remote advisory board opportunity for a senior professional who can help guide the growth of a specialist consultancy focused on property and portfolio-related services. The role is unpaid but offers strategic influence, commercial growth support, and the chance to contribute to the scaling of a founder-led business working with clients who need technical, operational, and portfolio support.

Key contribution areas

• Provide guidance on positioning the business in the market and sharpening its commercial message across a multi-service offering.
• Support business development planning, client targeting, and building a steadier flow of potential projects.
• Advise on how to develop recurring revenue and deepen long-term client relationships.
• Help steer the growth of a founder-led advisory firm that serves property and asset-related clients.

Candidate profile

• Seasoned senior leader with experience helping consulting, advisory, engineering, or similar professional services firms generate more reliable revenue.
• Strong awareness of property, portfolio management, workplace, asset strategy, or related commercial settings.
• Proven ability to present complex service portfolios in a clear, persuasive way.
• Experience supporting founder-led companies as they transition from project-based engagement to more structured and sustainable growth.
• Business development, strategic marketing, or other service-led scaling experience will be especially valuable.
