Role Overview
We are seeking an Assistant / Project Manager for Southeast Asia who is motivated by curiosity and ready to embrace challenges. You will oversee the entire project management lifecycle for the SEA region from initiation to closure.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle for Southeast Asia, collaborating with stakeholders to establish objectives, deliverables, scope, and constraints.
- Design comprehensive project plans detailing timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget estimations.
- Lead the project team by assigning duties and supervising progress, ensuring seamless coordination across departments and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular meetings with teams, stakeholders, and senior management to update on milestones, risks, and issues.
- Allocate and monitor use of necessary resources including staff, tools, and budget to optimize project outcomes.
- Identify risks and devise mitigation strategies while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Complete project closure activities such as final documentation, lessons learned sessions, and handover of deliverables.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering and Automation, Information Technology, or equivalent fields.
- Bring at least 5 years of robust project management experience with competency in utilizing various tools to ensure successful project delivery.
- Demonstrate familiarity with warehouse operations, logistics management, or solution design within 3PL, automation, or related sectors.
- Be organized and detail-oriented; excel in communication and negotiation; and have prior experience working directly with customers during project implementation.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin is required.
- Willingness to undertake frequent business travel across Asia-Pacific, including locations such as Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand.
