Position Overview
AlphaX is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead residential and commercial construction projects in Lancaster and the surrounding southcentral and southeastern Pennsylvania areas. This role demands a seasoned professional capable of managing all phases of construction projects, from initial planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee residential and commercial construction endeavors from inception through project closeout
- Coordinate activities of subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, inspections, and manage project timelines and logistics
- Evaluate and analyze construction plans, scopes of work, budgets, estimates, contracts, and project specifications
- Monitor project progress including costs, change orders, schedules, and deliverables
- Maintain consistent communication with clients, subcontractors, vendors, field staff, and management
- Provide support during preconstruction phases including estimating, scheduling, procurement, and documentation
- Identify and address any delays, site issues, budget discrepancies, or quality concerns promptly
- Guarantee project execution aligns with company quality benchmarks, budget, and deadlines
- Keep detailed and organized records of projects, including schedules, notes, updates, and communications
- Serve as a professional representative of AlphaX with all clients, partners, and stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years experience managing construction projects preferred
- Familiarity with residential projects such as custom homes and remodeling, and commercial projects including tenant fit-outs is advantageous
- Well-versed in construction scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and documentation review
- Ability to interpret construction plans, work scopes, contracts, and estimates effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Highly organized with the capacity to handle several priorities simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills
- Comfortable working both in an office setting and directly on construction sites
- Resident of Lancaster, PA area or ability to commute reliably to project locations
- Possession of a valid driver's license and dependable transportation required
