About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a significant new product development initiative remotely within the United States. This contract role initially spans 90 to 120 days, with a possibility of transitioning into full-time employment depending on performance and company needs. The Project Manager will oversee the entire product development lifecycle, coordinating efforts among Product, Engineering, Design, Curriculum, AI, Assessment, and Customer Success teams to ensure timely and successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide day-to-day management of a complex, cross-functional product project.
- Create, update, and track comprehensive project timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
- Facilitate effective collaboration among diverse teams including Product, Engineering, Design, Curriculum, AI, Assessment, and Customer Success.
- Ensure alignment of work outputs with project goals and delivery timelines.
- Lead meetings, planning discussions, and stakeholder reviews, maintaining transparent communication.
- Document critical decisions, action items, risks, and any changes throughout the project.
- Build and sustain strong working partnerships to keep all contributors on track.
- Identify and mitigate risks, bottlenecks, and interdependencies proactively.
- Coordinate stakeholders to resolve issues promptly and adjust plans when priorities evolve.
- Provide regular, concise status reports to leadership on project progress and health.
- Gain deep insights into the product, customer needs, and business objectives to become an indispensable operational partner.
- Support product management activities such as backlog grooming, release and sprint planning, and maintaining product documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum four years of experience managing complex, cross-functional projects.
- Proficiency with Agile practices and working alongside software development teams.
- Exceptional organizational and project planning capabilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including presentations.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with proactive ownership.
- Experience using collaboration and project management tools like Jira, Confluence, and Google Workspace.
Preferred Experience
- Background in EdTech, SaaS, or digital product development environments.
- Track record of successfully launching new software products.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, educational technology, AI-driven products, or assessment solutions.
- Hands-on experience or exposure to Product Management or Product Development processes.

- Establish yourself as the key coordination point among cross-disciplinary teams.
