Role Overview

The company is looking for a Project Manager for a high-rise building project in Ahmedabad. The role requires prior exposure to Mivan construction and strong capability in handling full-cycle project delivery, from planning and execution through closure.

Key Responsibilities

This position involves owning the project scope, aligning execution with client expectations, and ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

• Review the contractual scope in detail and fully understand client expectations.
• Lead planning, execution, manpower handling, budget control, vendor coordination, and risk management.
• Take ownership of project progress, construction sequencing, quality outcomes, and overall project profitability.
• Coordinate the hiring of contractors and support staff, while assigning clear responsibilities.
• Plan daily work, monitor progress, and coordinate activities among the site team, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and head office.
• Handle design coordination with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Track project budgets and monitor financial performance.
• Prepare detailed project plans, schedules, and risk mitigation plans.
• Coordinate billing and payment processes for all receivables.
• Manage project cash flow.
• Coordinate procurement of materials.
• Identify and recommend sub-vendors and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, quality parameters, and related requirements.
• Maintain compliance with statutory norms, health and safety rules, and legal and HR requirements.
• Prepare MIS reports for head office.
• Apply value engineering wherever possible.
• Stay strong in project management practices, team coordination, and site planning.
• Drive execution and final project closeout effectively.
• Support the project team and the wider organization as needed.
• Prepare cost estimates, project schedules, and ensure delivery within timelines.
• Maintain control over cost, quality, and wastage.
• Review progress and prepare detailed status reports.
• Identify extra items and deviations from contract scope.
• Negotiate with external vendors to secure favourable agreements.
• Communicate project updates to management and the project team.
• Oversee the project through completion and closure.
• Assist the HR and Admin team with site compliance and administrative control.

Requirements

• B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering.
• Prior exposure to Mivan construction.
• Strong knowledge of project management, project execution, and site planning.
• Ability to manage teams, contractors, vendors, budgets, and schedules.
• Good communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
