Job Overview
The MEP Project Engineer will oversee the planning, coordination, and supervision of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction activities. This role is responsible for ensuring project delivery aligns with safety protocols, timeline requirements, budget constraints, and quality as well as contractual standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and manage daily MEP site operations effectively.
- Serve as a liaison between clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams for streamlined communication.
- Track project developments and confirm compliance with established schedules.
- Examine shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions for accuracy.
- Oversee site manpower, subcontractor activities, and material supply logistics.
- Maintain adherence to quality control, safety guidelines, and project specifications.
- Compile progress reports and facilitate inspections and testing phases.
- Assist with completing project close-out activities and handing over to stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
- Possess 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience specifically in executing MEP projects.
- Prior work experience within UAE or GCC construction sectors is preferred.
- Background in handling commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledgeable about project management best practices and construction standards applicable to MEP fields.
