Role Summary

We are seeking a Project Controller (m/w/d) to join our Business Service Center team, which supports various businesses competently and service-oriented in administrative cross-company tasks such as order management, project controlling, and invoicing. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth operational processes and contributing to our overall business success. This position is based in Berlin, with additional locations in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, and Hamburg.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for Deloitte businesses, managing all arising questions pertaining to project controlling.
• Analyze financial factors and coordinate receivables and payments in partnership with the billing team and project managers.
• Oversee and steer projects by monitoring financial risks and acting as a strategic partner for project and department heads.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of delivered reports and analyses through meticulous review processes.
• Contribute to team projects and initiatives, generate internal documents, statistics, and reports, support onboarding of new colleagues, and identify as well as develop innovative project controlling instruments.

Qualifications and Skills

• Completed commercial vocational training with several years of professional experience in project controlling or a university degree in economics, preferably focusing on finance/controlling or business informatics.
• Proficiency in SAP, business intelligence tools, and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Interest in working with service management tools such as ServiceNow is a plus.
• Strong commitment with a highly independent, solution-driven, and structured working style. Flexibility and a proactive, hands-on approach are essential.
• Exceptional service orientation and enjoyment in collaborating with various departments, complemented by teamwork skills and reliability.
• Excellent written and spoken German skills and preferably English proficiency.
