Overview
The Department of Biotechnology at the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), New Delhi, invites applications for the position of Program Manager. This role supports the Mission Innovation India extramural program coordinated by the Government of India to accelerate clean energy innovations.
Job Role
The Program Manager will work within the DBT BioCARe Processing and Monitoring Unit (PMU) at ICGEB, supporting project management and coordination activities under funding from the Department of Biotechnology (Government of India). Appointment is contingent on funding availability and is limited-term.
Qualifications and Experience
- Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences.
- Minimum of three years of research and development experience in academic or industrial environments.
- Preferred background includes business or project management experience, collaboration with research funding bodies, and a track record of publications in recognized scientific journals.
Compensation
The consolidated monthly remuneration for this position is Rs 97,000, following guidelines set by the Department of Biotechnology.
