Role Overview
Würth Elektronik Midcom GmbH’s German branch in Munich is seeking a full-time production worker for manufacturing. The role sits within a global group of more than 7,900 employees across 50 countries, focused on electronic and electromechanical components, circuit boards, and intelligent power and control systems. The Midcom business unit develops and manufactures custom magnetics for the European market.
What You’ll Do
- Manufacture transformers with a power range below 400W and take measurements of their electrical and mechanical characteristics.
- Contribute ideas to resolve manufacturing issues already during the design stage.
- Support development engineers in bringing transformers into manufacturable production.
- Complete sample documentation and maintain technical records.
What We’re Looking For
- Completed vocational training, ideally as an electronics technician, electrical technician, or in a similar field; equivalent qualifications are also welcome.
- Practical exposure to measurement technology, mechanics, and basic electronic components is an advantage.
- Experience with test specifications for transformers and inductors.
- Strong command of MS Excel.
- Professional business English; German language skills are an advantage.
- Ability to spot defects and process issues and help correct them to keep production running smoothly.
