Job Overview

We are seeking an organized and communicative Production Planner to join our Production/Assembly team. The successful candidate will play an active role in managing production processes, monitoring schedules and materials, and collaborating with production, engineering, supply chain management, and logistics departments to ensure efficient project execution.

Responsibilities

• Support operational planning, control, and visualization of production to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Monitor inventory levels using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) for production-critical components.
• Create and maintain work plans and relevant production documentation.
• Manage article and production master data within the ERP system.
• Interpret and utilize technical drawings as the basis for production planning.
• Collaborate closely with production, engineering, SCM, and logistics to optimize the overall production process.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in processes, workflows, and planning structures.

Candidate Profile

• Some experience in a similar role, preferably in an industrial environment involving small-series or custom manufacturing of complex parts.
• Strong understanding of processes with a structured, independent, and solution-focused working style.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Good knowledge of ERP systems.
• Confident in reading and working with technical drawings.
• Excellent communication skills, team spirit, and enthusiasm for cross-departmental collaboration.
• High motivation to learn, strong quality focus, and eagerness to actively shape processes.
• Good command of German and English (written and spoken).
