Overview
Cintas Canada is recruiting a Production Associate specializing as a Garment Hanger/Inspector to join the Rental Division during the 2nd shift. This role is key to ensuring customer garments are carefully and safely placed on hangers while conducting a thorough visual inspection to detect issues requiring proactive repair such as holes or tears. The work area must be kept clean and organized consistently.
Responsibilities
- Safely and accurately hang customer garments on appropriate hangers.
- Visually examine each garment to identify any damage or repairs needed, such as patching holes or tears.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the workspace at all times.
- Meet or exceed established production standards, with compensation linked to performance and productivity.
Job Expectations & Requirements
- Regular attendance is mandatory in accordance with company policy.
- Comfortable working in close proximity to coworkers for extended periods.
- Ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Must stand throughout most of the shift and perform repetitive movements including stretching, bending, turning, and reaching.
- Occasionally push carts or bins loaded with bulk items or linens to folding stations.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality in all tasks.
- Exhibits strong work ethic, dedication, and dependability, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills with a cooperative and respectful attitude toward colleagues.
- Works collaboratively with team members to achieve common goals.
- Strict adherence to safety procedures and guidelines.

Compensation & Benefits
Estimated hourly wage ranges from 22 to 27 per hour, influenced by skills, experience, and business needs. Compensation decisions consider multiple factors; hiring near the top rate is uncommon.
